Financial Resolutions

Change can be hard. We all know that. And maybe that’s why we keep making new year’s resolutions each year, even though many are forgotten before the spring thaw. But what if we made change easier? Well, that’s our goal for today as we go through 10 money resolutions that can benefit you in the new year. Resolutions that are approachable, easy to implement, realistic. Resolutions like making a budget, setting up a cash emergency fund and updating your will. Granted, the fun factor on each of these tasks is seemingly rather low, but gaining some peace of mind by saving some more money and financially protecting your family is a resolution worth striving for and spending some time on. So let’s get the new year rolling.

Financial professionals like me thrive on helping people put their retirement finances back on track. If you’re a do-it-yourselfer who’s strayed off the retirement planning path, or if you just feel like it’s time to get a fresh perspective on the retirement path you’re on, the first step is to call my office at 855-822-7100 for a customized analysis.

This customized assessment will help uncover areas where there’s opportunity to help grow your retirement nest egg, so it provides enough income for as long as you need it. The analysis also includes:

  • An honest evaluation of how much you have saved for retirement.
  • How much risk your assets are exposed to.
  • Your retirement goals.
  • How much income you might need to support those goals.
